YES--A Zoning Permit is required prior to the construction,
erection, alteration of any building costing or valued at $50.00 or
more; which would include a Fence or Shed.

|
YES--A Zoning Permit is required for all in-ground
private swimming pools, and above-ground swimming pools with
a pool liner excavation greater than two feet in depth. A Zoning Permit
is not required for above-ground swimming pools with a pool liner
excavation of two feet of less.

|
|
YES--A County Building Permit is required as Step Two
of all construction projects; with two (2) exceptions: A County Building
Permit is not needed for the installation of a fence, and for
accessory buildings (shed, decks, garages) less than 200 square feet
in dimension.

|
|
NO--A Zoning Permit is not required for siding,
reshingling, windows, and doors; however, if there is a change in the
roof pitch requiring reconstruction of the roof before shingling, a
permit is required.
|
|
|
|
NO--the diversion or redirection of storm surface water
from one property to another is not a zoning issue, and represents
a "civil matter" between the two property owners.

|
|
|
NO--No abandoned (an unlicensed vehicle is defined as
being abandoned), wrecked, unused, or dismantled automobile, truck,
jeep, van, recreational vehicle (motor home), trailer is permitted to
be stored in an exposed manner in any yard area on residential
property. Note that a vehicle not stored within a garage, in plain view
or covered with any material, in a yard area is defined as being
exposed storage.

|
YES--A property owner can raise/shelter animals, exclusive
of domesticated household pets, if the animals are sheltered
one hundred (100) feet away from an adjacent residential house.

|
|
A Zoning Permit is valid for one (1) calendar year from the date
of issuance, and within this calendar year all exterior walls, roof
and doors must be completed on buildings.

NO--The Zoning Ordinance only regulates the use of the
real property, i.e., the area inside the property pins. Any question/issue
concerning vehicles parked on the street should be referred to the Austintown
Police Department, 330-799-9721

|
Only one (1) commercial vehicle with a gross vehicle weight (gvw)
less than 11,000 pounds is allowed to be parked/stored on residential
property. Commercial tractor cabs and trailers are not permitted,
in that they exceed 11,000 pounds gvw.
