	Minimum requirements for a patrol officer:
		A United States Citizen Twenty-one (21) years of age or older Earned a high school diploma or GED Valid Ohio Police Officer Training Academy certificate Valid Ohio Driver’s License Good driving record No felony or domestic violence convictions
	A candidate must also complete a multi-phase selection process. These phases include:
		Successfully pass a Fitness Test (50th percentile based on Cooper Institute Standards for Physical Fitness) Written Test and Personality Trait (score 70% or higher to continue process) Background Investigation (includes but not limited to contacting present and former employers, criminal history check, contacting personal references, credit report) VSA (voice stress analysis) Panel Interview Drug Test Medical Exam Psychological Test
