| Jim was born in
Youngstown Ohio and has been a resident of Austintown since 1988.
Jim was a 1995 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School. Jim
attended the MTC Police Academy in Niles, Ohio and has been employed
in Law Enforcement for 9 years. He currently holds certifications in
corrections training, FEMA / Emergency Management, and over 40 other
law enforcement categories. He received the Chief of Police's Life
Saving Accommodation in July 2008. He is currently a Corporal
(part-time) with the Milton Township Police District where he has
been employed since 2005 and is a Mahoning County Deputy Sheriff
(reserve) where he has been employed since 2001. Jim has also been
the Sales Manager for the Holiday Inn Boardman since April 2006. Jim is a member of the American Red Cross Board of Directors, a founding member of the Milton Township Police Association, was a member of the Mahoning County Deputies FOP Lodge #141, and is an umpire with the Youngstown Metro Umpires Association. Jim is married to Chrisy (Chrisy Rafidi- Fitch Class of '96) Davis and resides on Pineridge Court in Austintown. They currently have one daughter, Gabriella Marie (Fitch Class of 2027) and a puppy named Cooper. Jim is the son of Thomas and Susan (Susan Thomas- Fitch Class of '69) Davis. Dave is a lifelong resident
of Austintown, and a 1976 Austintown Fitch Graduate. Dave received his
Associate Degree in Applied Business from Youngstown State University
in 1982, and his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from
Youngstown State University in 1984. Dave was first elected Austintown Township Trustee in November 1993, and has subsequently been reelected in 1997, 2001, and 2005, serving the people of Austintown as their Trustee since January 1, 1994. He was recently inducted into The Austintown Growth Foundation Hall of Fame Class of 2004 for Community Service. He has been elected an Austintown Democratic Precinct Committeeperson since 1986, and served as Mahoning County Democratic Party Chair from 1999 through 2001. He was elected a Delegate to the Democratic Convention in 2000 for Al Gore, and elected a Delegate to the 2004 Democratic Convention for John Kerry. He has been a Steelworker his entire career, as a Member of USWA Local 1418 Youngstown Sheet and Tube / Jones and Laughlin Steel from 1977 to 1983. He was employed by Thomas Steel Strip Corporation from 1983 through 2005 as Sales Manager, then electing to accept the position of Global Manager of Sales for The American Nickeloid Corporation in 2006. Lisa was elected as Austintown Township Trustee in November 2003 and
officially took office on January 1, 2004. Lisa is the second female
trustee to hold office in Austintown. Lisa attended Hondros College in Akron, Ohio and is currently a licensed real estate agent. Lisa was also a Paralegal for eleven years for two reputable law firms in Austintown; Schiavoni, Schiavoni & Bush and Tablack, Wellman, Jeren, Hackett & Skoufatos and was employed as a Marketing Coordinator for a financial investor. Lisa served as Centennial President of the Austintown Rotary Club; Co-Chairperson of the Falcon Forward Committee, a committee comprised of four members who raised more than $400,000 to renovate the athletic complex at Austintown Fitch High School; Co-Chairperson of Austintown's 9-11 Memorial Park Project, Vice-President and Secretary of the Austintown Beautification Committee, a committee that raised more than $250,000 to construct a 9-11 Memorial Park on South Raccoon Road in Austintown; Austintown Growth Foundation member; President of Computers for Kids Foundation, LLC.; Safe Routes to Schools Committee; Chamber of Commerce Austintown Council; Mahoning County Weapons of Mass Destruction Advisory Board, Mahoning County Tax Incentive Review Council, Past Recording Secretary of Austintown Junior Women's League; Austintown Community Fitness Center Board of Directors; Former Assistant Coach for the Austintown Girl's Softball League and currently the sponsor of OLES EXPRESS softball team.
